MN Youth Story Squad (MYSS) is collaborating on an important new project called Lake Street Project with the Heritage Studies and Public History program at the University of Minnesota. Through interviews, photography, and film we are documenting how Lake street in Minneapolis and surrounding areas have been impacted by the uprising since the murder of George Floyd and COVID-19. Lake Street Breathe focuses on the ways Black lives have been impacted, amplifying community and youth voices and sustaining ongoing mutual aid work.
All gifts donated to this page will support MYSS with the current priority being the Lake Street Project. With your donation and partnership, we will be able to collaborate with Minneapolis high school youth, U of M college students, and BIPOC artists and photographers.
