Bladder cancer is the 7th-most common cancer in the U.S. and the 3rd-most common cancer in men with 65,000 new cases each year and over 500,000 living with the disease in the U.S. The University of Minnesota is on the forefront of research to identify early warning signs, discover better treatments, and work toward potential cures. Some examples of our research progress in bladder cancer include: identifying new urine-based diagnostics tests, treating early-stage cancer to preserve the bladder, and identifying precision medicine strategies to use chemotherapy more effectively.

Join us on Saturday, September 21st for our annual Strides Against Bladder Cancer walk. All proceeds will benefit bladder cancer research and education at the Institute for Prostate and Urologic Cancers at the University of Minnesota.

This is a non-timed walk where you can walk as far as 5K or as little as one step. We encourage you to bring the whole family to join our community for this event.
