Help Us Bring Clean Water to Kirengo and Nyansakia, Kenya!
This December, 11 dedicated students from Engineers Without Borders at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (EWB UMD) and two experienced professional engineers are embarking on a transformative journey to Kirengo and Nyansakia, Kenya. From December 12th to 23rd, we will be working hand-in-hand with these communities to improve their access to clean water by developing sustainable water distribution systems that will bring lasting change.
For these communities, clean water is not a given; many spend hours each day collecting water, often from sources that are miles away and unsafe. Our project aims to provide a safe, reliable water source closer to their homes, improving health, sanitation, and quality of life.
We are reaching out for your support to make this project possible. While EWB is dedicated to creating sustainable engineering solutions, we need help covering the travel and on-site costs for our team. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us closer to reaching our fundraising goal and ensuring that we can make a tangible difference in the lives of the people of Kirengo and Nyansakia.
Your donation will directly support:
- Travel expenses for the team to and from Kenya
- Supplies and equipment for the water distribution project
- Living costs while in Kenya, allowing us to stay focused on the work at hand
Join us in bringing clean, accessible water to the people of Kirengo and Nyansakia. This trip is a life-changing experience for us as students and engineers, but more importantly, it’s a life-changing project for these communities. Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact!
Donate today and help us build a better world, one drop at a time.
