It’s game-time! As proud alumni of Minnesota Law, we are excited to lead Team West in Minnesota Law’s first March Madness Campaign and compete against other regional alumni teams, Team East and Team Central for this year’s championship title.
We are passionate about Minnesota Law and the impact it has had on our lives, and are committed to ensuring that future students have the same, if not greater, opportunities as we did.
As part of the Campaign, we have chosen to champion diversity scholarships at the Law School. Diversity scholarships increase access to Minnesota Law and ensure that the student body, and the future legal profession, represent and embrace the diverse world in which we live and practice.
Diversity in our profession can’t progress unless we increase the opportunities for students from all backgrounds to attend law school. Minnesota Law’s diversity scholarships support future generations of lawyer leaders with unique perspectives, who will ultimately help all of us be better at what we do.
Now is our opportunity to come together as a regional alumni community and make a difference, while taking part in a fierce but fun competition between fellow Minnesota Law alumni. We hope that you and our fellow “West” alumni teammates will join us in this campaign, show your support by making a gift today, and and help us win bragging rights as crowned champions. Every gift matters and makes a difference—both in having an impact at the Law School and in helping us earn points in the competition.

Dates: March 18, 2021– April 2, 2021.
Earning points: Teams will receive 1 point for every $10/donated and 1 point for each donor (e.g. someone who gives $30 will earn their team 4 points). Donations must be made through your team crowdfunding site.
How to Win: The Team with the most points by Friday April 2, 2021 will be this year’s champion. Winners will be announced in the April Digest and will have bragging rights for the next year.
MVPs: We'll be celebrating participating alumni by randomly selecting a daily MVP between March 21-27. MVPs will receive a special Minnesota Law swag bag to say thank you for competing in this year’s March Madness campaign.
