Agriculture is an occupation, but also a way of life - and it can be dangerous. At the Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center (UMASH), we work to create a safe and healthy work environment.
Through interdisciplinary research and outreach, we address existing and emerging occupational health and safety issues in agriculture using a One Health approach.
Your support will expand our outreach so we can listen and respond to agricultural community needs by:
identifying critical and emerging needs,
responding through research discovery and outreach action, and
supporting students to learn through this process.
Your support will benefit U of M Environmental Health Sciences programs, with our current priority being UMASH, which supports the health, safety and well-being of farmers and their families in agriculture.
