Meet two young angels, Camden – age 9, and Maxwell – age 19 months, who touched more people’s hearts in their short time on earth than many do in an adult lifetime.

Trista Curry and Bryan Dean met while students at the University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC). Bryan played football for the Golden Eagles and both graduated from the University. They were blessed with three beautiful children (Camden, Avalon, and Maxwell.)

On a wintery day, March 25, 2018, while riding with their mom, Trista, and sister, Avalon, their vehicle was struck by a semi and both Camden and Maxwell tragically passed away. Both boys had smiles that could light up anyone’s day, but Camden had already developed a true passion for helping others in need. The boys had kind hearts and truly loved others.

Their giving hearts continue to live on through those closest to them and the #CamdentotheMax Foundation was created to spread kindness and pay-it-forward activities to honor these two beautiful boys.

In honor of Avalon’s dear angel brothers, Camden and Maxwell Dean, please consider giving to this scholarship to support UMC students, ensuring that good deeds continue to live on as will their legacy. Help us connect the inspiration of these boys with future students who have similar kind hearts and a giving nature. Surely, their memory will live on in all who hear their story and get to know them through the good works done in their honor.

*Gifts to this fund are intended to build an endowment that will live on in perpetuity and memorialize Camden and Maxwell forever. At the end of the campaign, in the case the $25,000 minimum endowment level is not met, the dollars raised will be disbursed to purpose annually until the fund amount is exhausted.
