The University of Minnesota-Duluth men’s lacrosse team had an outstanding regular season, finishing with a 10-5 record. It had one of its toughest schedules in years. One of the highlights: beating then-No. 1 St. Thomas and the Minnesota Gophers on a weekend in late February, and nearly beating top-ranked Michigan State (in Div. 1) the first week of the season. Now, the Bulldogs move to the MCLA National Championship Tournament, beginning May 7 in Salt Lake City. The Dogs expect a high seed going into the national tournament.
The Dogs humbly ask for your financial support for their trip West to help defray some of the travel costs. The team is busing to Salt Lake, beginning May 4, with some of the senior teammates following after they graduate prior to the tournament. Thanks for anything you can do, and to those of you who supported our campaign at the beginning of the season.
