Graduate students in the College of Education and Human Development are problem solvers, advocates and leaders. They are challenged to create equity, investigate children’s mental health, and build family resilience. CEHD graduate students are the future leaders of our schools and organizations, and help drive research that improves lives.

Your gift to the CEHD Alumni Society Advanced Study Scholarship will have a direct impact on graduate students like Angela, who is in the Master's in Social Work program. Angela grew up in poverty in rural Minnesota, but was committed to furthering her education. As a single mother, she had to find ways to cover childcare and support her family as well as pay tuition. Financial aid made the difference as to whether or not she pursued a social work degree. Thanks in part to the Advanced Study Scholarship, Angela can compete her master's and strengthen her community as a social worker.

Donor generosity to scholarships ensures all students have access regardless of their financial background, and helps CEHD remain competitive by providing funding for exceptional students who are being recruited by other institutions.

The CEHD Alumni Society Board has committed to 100% participation for Give to the Max Day. Join them and make a difference for students like Angela!
