I'm so excited to be collaborating with Brooks Autry and Billy Koenig at the School for Environmental Studies to teach the high altitude physiology class and climb the highest volcano in Mexico with 8 awesome high school students for Kidney Cancer. This is a very meaningful climb because we've matched each student and teacher with a patient to climb for. We will take the photo of each patient and have them "climb' with us to the summit.
Afterward we hope to have the patients and students meet togther and share their respective stories. We will also be measuring the physiologic changes that happen to our bodies as we progress into a lower and lower oxygen environment.
Please support these kids as we climb. All donations are used 100% for cancer research and are not used to cover travel expenses. Join us in the fight against this cancer.
