I decided that life cycle, biomimicry, and brain and heart comparison sets sounded the coolest of the planned projects and with the matching funds that was possible for a $500 plus match contribution. (500+500=1,000).

Give Now Join This Team!

This year we’re showcasing all things curious—all for the sake of science!

We need your support to make the Touch and See Lab a thriving environment for science learning! Give today and double your impact with $20,000 in matching gifts!

UPDATE: Thanks to an additional $5,000 in matching funds, we've increased our campaign goal to $20,000!

A Thriving Environment for Science Learning

Opening in the new Bell Museum in summer 2018, the Touch and See Lab is a space for all things curious. The space will feature live animals and insects, a collections room with over 4,000 real specimens, science activities, and more! Even better—everything can be touched in this unique environment of free-choice, directed, and hands-on learning.

And most importantly, what results in this fascinating space is more effective science learning! The Touch and See Lab is designed for how all ages learn best, through a mix of observation, compare-and-contrast, and sensory engagement.

Make a gift today to:

  • Equip the Touch and See Lab with tools needed for hands-on physics, chemistry, geology, and biology activities.
  • Increase the number of species and specimens in the collections to teach about the fascinating diversity of life on earth.
  • Provide supplies and care for our educational live animals and insects.
  • Make science education thrive for over 100,000 learners a year.

Double Your Impact with a $20,000 Matching Gift

Make a gift today, and it will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20,000! Thanks to a generous $15,000 matching gift from Hart Rosenblatt, longtime member of the Bell Museum Advisory Board, and $5,000 matching gift from an anonymous donor, your donation will make twice the impact!

Follow Along to See All Things Curious

We want to show you the impact that your gift makes! We’ll be unlocking 7 curiosity drawers as we climb towards our $20,000 fundraising campaign goal on November 16. We'll unlock drawers when we reach $2,500; $5,000; $7,500; $10,000; $12,000; $14,000; $15,000, $20,000!

Follow along on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to see the unlocked curiosities. Whether you are eager to learn something new or to explore unusual critters and collections, we’ll have something to pique your curiosity.
