Thank you to those who have pledged.  Thank you Osseo MN Lions for your donation of $500!  Lions are some of the best people in the world and I appreciate you very much!

In September 2016 I was training for the Las Vegas Marathon which was held in November 2016. During my training I began to notice my body was telling me something wasn't quite right, especially when the run was greater than 10 miles. I assumed it was runner's hematuria so wasn't too worried but after a couple of episodes I became a bit more concerned.  A doctor appointment was scheduled and early stage bladder cancer was found. My tumor was caught early and I am thankful for that.  This walk is a way for me to support research and education about bladder cancer.  Please consider donating to raise funds for research.  My cancer was removed in November 2016 and my first 3 month check-up came back clear.  This November 2017, I will get the chance to run the Las Vegas Half-Marathon.

I am starting this team after being diagnosed with early stage bladder cancer at the age of 37.
