Every year, the Theatre of the Relatively Talentless (TORT) stages a musical that's written, produced, directed, and performed by students of the University of Minnesota Law School. Since 2002, we’ve provided law students (along with faculty, judges, and other legal stars) with a much-needed creative outlet. This year's show, Top Gunner, will be our 16th annual production.
TORT is reaching out for your help to make this year's production strong, sassy, and (most importantly) solvent. TORT relies on the generosity of the legal community to fund our productions. Our needs include:
• Costumes, to clothe our actors.
• Instruments for our pit orchestra, who perform the dozen or so musical numbers.
• Tech props and set pieces to bring our law school to life on the stage.
• A quality rehearsal space, so we only break a leg figuratively.
Don't forget to relive the past and imagine future possibilities at www.umntort.org. We can't wait to share the show with you.
