Ensuring the health of raptors and the world we share through teaching, research, and service. Each bird admitted to The Raptor Center tells us about the effects of habitat loss, declining water quality, disease prevalence, and toxins in our eniviroment.

In 2017, TRC provided care and treatment for a record breaking 1,085 birds. We are on track for another very busy year in 2018! More than 65% of our operating budget comes from donations from people just like you!

In addtion to helping the birds we all love, your support helps:

  • Educate conservation-minded veterinarians and veterinary students.
  • Underwrite the cost of our unique programs teaching the next generation the importance of enviromental stewardship.
  • Research that helps us understand how changes in the natural world affect raptors and ultimately all living things including humans.

The first $54,000 in gifts to The Raptor Center on Give to the Max Day will be matched by three loyal donors; Rachel Hollstadt, Acorn Charitable Trust and the Sarah J. Andersen Fund of the Hugh J. Andersen Foundation.
